Emily Harvey Foundation

Jürgen O. Olbrich (Germany), Berty Skuber (Italy) and Rod Summers (England) have worked together ever since 2008, thanks largely to their relationship with the Emily Harvey Foundation. Their exhibition of collaborative collages—60 from 3 - first took place in Venice in 2011, before travelling to Kassel in 2012, and now looks forward to exhibitions in Maastricht, Reykjavik, and Münster. It has also been documented by a publication, in Ireland, of the Red Fox Press. The current exhibition - The Way the Wind Blows - consists of six projects specifically conceived for Archivio Emily Harvey, and enjoys the further participation of 28 artists from all around the world, many of whom have also been resident guests of The Emily Harvey Foundation. The various elements of all six projects—Venice Calendars, 12 x 12 x 3, Triple Diaries, 4 x 3 = 12, 49 Postcards, and Weather Report—have wafted their way along a complex path through the mails of any number of countries and now come together in Venice.
